Here are some highlights of my programming journey so far.

Projects

  1. Librofono 2026

    Librofono

A TTS tool and a library of public domain audio books. The project combines many moving parts and its been a very rewarding experience.

  2. Selfhosting and Nixos 2025

A friend inspired me with his self hosted setup and NixOS. I spent much of that year setting up varying tools on my VPS using NixOS.

  3. A keyboard out of what was lying around 2022, 2024

A keyboard out of what was lying around

A keyboard built from the Arduinos I already had and an old keyboard I was not using. I made the initial version over a weekend and it was very fun. Then upgraded upon it 2 years later when i had the correct microcontroller that could emulate a keyboard. I ended up using the keyboard for a good year.

  4. Arch, and years of neovim 2021-2023

A long stretch of free time spent on the tools rather than on anything made with them. Arch linux, and a configuration that never stopped being edited. Scripts, plugins, and a great deal of neovim.

Most of it was never meant to be released and most of it is unfinished. It is on this page because it is where a lot of hours went, and because the habits and the love is still there.

  5. Octrees and voxels 2020-2021

One of the main things I used my game engine on was experimenting with rendering. Specifically real time voxel based and oct-tree rendering. Writing and debugging complicated algorithms inside of shaders.

  6. A game engine 2020

At university I wrote a game engine rather than a game. Which is layer underneath games, where the loop, the rendering and the scene live.

This is where the love of tool development came from. It was very satisfying solving lower level problems in a system where real-time execution is important.

I later built my thesis and a few other projects on top of it.

  7. The first games 2016-2017

    The first games

Four of them, made before I knew what Git was: a tower defence, a plane game built with a friend, a 3D snake that spent a while on Google Play, and a Rubik’s cube simulator I was very proud of. They were the reason i got into programming in the first place.
